Shawnee National Forest Trails

The Shawnee National Forest Trail system is over 1250 miles long with small day hikes like Garden of the God or a long 160 mile adventure like the River to River Trail. Trails wind through the hills and valleys of the Shawnee by old homesteads and unique geologic formations you may see the elusive bobcat, deer, Wild Turkey, Squirrel and a  multitude of different  birds as you travel the trails. 
   There 3 primary ways to experience the Shawnee National forest Trails Horseback riding, backpacking and Mountain biking.
